We're looking for a UX/UI designer to join an exciting project.
It's an exciting role where you'd get to be part of creating the future of language learning and a result help a lot of people around the world accomplish dreams. If you design SaaS + Mobile app, but also passionate about minimal, modern, and fun design, with at least 1 year of experience, feel free to reach out.
We're offering a part time job for at least 6 months that we hope would turn into full time in the UK or Europe (although since we're remote, you'll be able to stay in your country if you wanted to.
Here's a bit more about the job:
You'll be working designing features for a desktop SaaS app, a mobile version of it, but also website implementation and marketing related design.
Who are you?
You're chilled and able to work under pressure. Lots to deliver and that sometimes can be stressful, although we'll do our best to keep things relaxed.
You design clean, minimalistic and exciting UX
You're structured. You can breakdown deliveries into small milestones and work towards delivering each one of them.
You're a good communicator. That doesn't mean your English is great, but it means you're comfortable with keeping stakeholders informed well and frequently and that you're transparent about your work.
You know what you can do and what you can't - you don't overcommit to something you cannot do.
You're able to take feedback - positive (ideally!) but also negative when that happens, process and implement.
You've done all of these for a at least a year now and able to demonstrate how.
What about us?
We're high velocity. We ship code every week. We do that by breaking bigger projects into small meaningful improvements, but also by not worrying about the perfect feature each time and instead, deliver something and improve upon it.
We're (trying to be) very structured. We ship with intent - we know or at least have a strong assumption for why we spend time and effort on something - whether its feature, a bug, or anything in between.
We're lean and stick to a small number of tools
We're strive to maintain focus an alignment - this means frequent and short communication but also sessions where we plan and make sure everyone knows what they're doing - and why.
Ownership is important - this means - if you see a problem or something you care about, we'll listen to what you have to say, but we'd also expect you to lead it.
A bit of Admin
We're looking for someone to commit to 15 hours of weekly work
Ideally within a European timezone so we can work closely together.
We're looking to hire directly, so please, no agencies 😀
